Dr. Tran began his professional education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduation, he enrolled at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He also completed a year-long CE implant fellowship program and a clinical residency in implantology and IV sedation at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) MaxiCourse® in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Dr. Tran loves getting to know his patients. He has a warm and friendly chairside manner and is passionate about caring for each individual’s needs. He proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association®, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.

When he is not working, Dr. Tran enjoys rooting on his favorite teams, including the Astros, Texans and Razorbacks. He is also a fan of barbeque and enjoys visiting local attractions, such as museums, theme parks and historical sites.

Dr. Korloo was born in Southern California, but spent most of her childhood in Sugar Land, Texas. She began her professional pursuits at the University of Texas at Austin, earning undergraduate degrees in economics and biology. She then decided to pursue a career in dentistry and enrolled at the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. She excelled in the program, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2015.

Dr. Korloo holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association®, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also very active in the community and regularly volunteers with charitable organizations, including the Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) and Give Kids a Smile (GKAS).

Outside of work, Dr. Korloo enjoys hanging out with friends and family. She is a self-proclaimed “foodie” who enjoys eating at the many amazing restaurants that Houston offers. She is also a sports fanatic and loves cheering on the Houston Rockets.

Dr. Sharma grew up in California and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of California Davis. After graduating college, she moved to Utah to pursue a doctorate in Dentistry and graduated summa cum laude earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in 2017.

Dr. Sharma has a gentle and compassionate demeanor and helps guide her patients to make the best decisions for their optimal oral health. Dr. Sharma provides comprehensive care to patients of all age ranges in all aspects of dentistry, with her passion being in clear aligners and cosmetic dentistry.

Apart from dentistry Dr. Sharma is a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and an avid skier. In her free time you can find her spending time with family and friends, creating resin and stained glass art or catching a good movie. She is also fluent in four languages: English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu, and is aiming to re-learn Spanish in the near future.

Dr. Sharma and her husband met while in dental school and travelled around the United States for several years with the Navy while her husband was serving our country as a Naval Dentist. Dr. Sharma and her family are happy to call the Houston Metro Area their permanent home and serve the patients of the great state of Texas.

She is excited in caring forward the 40 plus year legacy of Tropical Dental Care to provide extraordinary, conscientious and trustworthy care to the residents of Tomball and its many surrounding communities.

Dr. Robert Hoffman is an oral maxillofacial surgeon with a rich educational background and extensive experience in his field. Graduating from the University of California, San Diego, with undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and cellular biology in 1986, Dr. Hoffman continued his academic journey at the University of California, San Francisco. There, he obtained a Bachelor of Dental Sciences, Doctor of Dental Surgery and a MS in oral biology, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in dentistry.

After completing his education, Dr. Hoffman pursued further specialization through a residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, earning his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1995. This rigorous training included Anesthesia, general surgery Otolaryngology, plastic and reconstructive surgery and internal medicine.

Dr. Hoffman’s dedication to his profession is evident in his role at Tropical Dental Care, where he serves as a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His reputation precedes him, as a compassionate with humorous demeanor. Patients trust Dr. Hoffman not only for his surgical expertise but also for his ability to alleviate anxiety and create a comfortable environment during procedures.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Hoffman finds fulfillment in his personal life. He shares a loving relationship with his wife, Paula, of over 30 years, and together they have raised three adult children. Dr. Hoffman’s interests extend to sports, particularly as a devoted fan of the Houston Rockets, Texans and Astros. His enthusiasm for sports is reflected in his attire, as he proudly wears surgical scrubs adorned with the colors and logos of his favorite teams, adjusting them according to the season.
